Hospitals and health care systems across the country are finding that it is increasingly difficult to provide needed behavioral health services to the communities that they serve. Staffing shortages, reimbursement issues and capital constraints are among the challenges being faced. Fortunately, there are a variety of innovative partnership models that can be utilized to deal with these challenges, and support the continued provision and growth of services.

This session will provide the rationale for such partnerships and present several case studies that demonstrate the efficacy of these models, as well as some of the key factors that should be considered in pursuing such arrangements.
